Homelessness / sleeping rough

Working towards permanently ending rough sleeping.

We assist statutory and voluntary sectors in their efforts to put an end to rough sleeping, most specifically during severe weather requirements.

Yearly Count of Rough Sleepers

From time to time, “Seaside CIC” takes note of the Government’s Annual Rough Sleeper Snapshot, which looks at the number of people sleeping outside on a particular night each year.

StreetLink

“Street Link” is an important service that allows members of the public to report individuals who are sleeping rough to local authorities. When an alert is received, the local council sends an outreach team to find the person and help them access the necessary local services.

In the past year, over 50,000 alerts have been submitted, resulting in more than 5,000 individuals being successfully connected with local services.
